Installation Procedure
- Boot the server using ShareBox4 ISO image.
- ShareBox4 installation is fully automated. If you install on blank hard drive , no questions will be asked. Sometimes when the target disk has some partitions left on , ShareBox4 will come up with the following screen. Select 'Yes' to continue.
- When installation is over,the server will reboot.Login into the terminal using root / root123.
- Set your IP address,netmask,gateway & DNS (very important).ShareBox4 requires active internet connection to activate its license. Make sure internet is reachable from inside your box.
When needed , you can get root shell access by selecting 'Shell' from the bottom of the system menu.. - From your web browser , go to http://server_ip_address/admin . Login using username & password (admin/admin)
- Go to Settings->License and click on 'Reload' to activate your trial license.Sometimes you need to click it twice to obtain it. If no license is fetched , then please check your server internet connectivity.
- When license status changes to 'Enabled', Sharebox4 will be ready. You can start using it by browsing http://your_server_ip.
